W.D Gann was a legendary trader/analyst from the 20th century who was also a mathematician, astronomer and also an astrologer.He analysis methods were arcane but he did use astrological lunar cycles and combined them with charting techniques.One of his important techniques, the Gann Cardinal Square was said to be inspired from the structure of Indian temples.He did spend some time in India to gain mystic knowledge.The bottom line is that the man made 50 million dollars trading with the principles he developed(though he lost a major portion of his fortune in the later years).
