Nifty March Expiry Analysis

  • FII sold 16.6  K contract of Index Future worth 1676 cores, Net OI has increased by 12.1 K contract 2.2 K  Long contract were covered by FII and 14.4 K  Shorts were added by FII. Net FII Long Short ratio at 1.37 so FII used fall to exit longs and enter shorts.
  • As Discussed in Last Analysis   Bears below 14721 can see quick fall towards 14666/14610/14555. Tommorow we will complete 1 year from the low made of 24 March 2020. All Bearish target done and bank nifty is back to gann angle support suggesting another price time squaring on cards. Tommrow being expiry and nifty trading below last expiry close suggesting bulls will be under pressure once we start trading below 14525. Bulls need to break 14610 for the upmove towards 14666/14721/14777. Bears below 14525 can see quick fall towards 14472/14424/14377.

  • Total Future & Option trading volume at 44.2 Lakh core with total contract traded 1.64 lakh , PCR @0.96
  • Nifty April  Future Open Interest Volume is at 0.70 Cores with addition of 11.9 Lakh with increase in cost of carry suggesting SHORT position were added today, NF Rollover cost @14938 closed below it. 
  • 14800 CE is having Highest OI at 31.8  Lakh, resistance at 14800 followed by 14900.14700-14900 CE added 24 Lakh in OI so bears added in range of 15300-15500.FII bought 20.8  K CE and 18.1 K CE were shorted by them. Retailers bought 339 K CE and 198 K CE were shorted by them.
  • 14600 PE OI@45 Lakhs having the highest OI strong support at 14500 followed by 14400. 14500-14700 PE added 14 Lakh in OI so bulls addded position in range 14500-14600.FII bought 15.8 K PE and 8.7K shorted PE were covered by them. Retailers sold 114 K PE and 49 K shorted PE were covered by them.
  • FII’s sold 1951 cores and DII’s bought 612 cores in cash segment.INR closed at 72.59

Buy Above 14580 Tgt 14610,14643 and 14676 (Nifty Spot Levels)

Sell Below 14525 Tgt 14501,14472 and 14442 (Nifty Spot Levels)

Upper End of Expiry : 14720 

Lower End of Expiry : 14378
