NIFTY Weekly Expiry Analysis

  • FII sold 984 contract of Index Future worth 182 cores, Net OI has decreased by 10 K contract 5.5 K Long contract were covered by FII and 4.6 K Shorts were covered by FII. Net FII Long Short ratio at 1.63 so FII used rise to exit longs and exit shorts.

 

  • As discussed in Last Analysis  Bulls need to move above 15354 for a move back to 15416/15478/15540. Bears will get active below 15245 for a move back to 15183/15122/15060.Tommrow very important astro date which lead to trend change for few days, Bears were able to do 1 target on downside. Now As we have Weekly expiry combined with astro date so should see good move in Nifty. Now Bulls need to move above 15301 for a move back to 15355/15417/15479. Bears below 15191 for a move back to 15129/15068 15007.

  • Total Future & Option trading volume at 43.1  Lakh core with total contract traded 1.35 lakh , PCR @0.91
  • Nifty Feb Future Open Interest Volume is at 1.12 Cores with addition of 4.41  Lakh with decrease in cost of carry suggesting SHORT position were added today, NF Rollover cost @14217 closed above it. 
  • 15300 CE is having Highest OI at 35.7 Lakh, resistance at 15300 followed by 15400.15300-15500 CE added 24 Lakh in OI so bears added in range of 15300-15500.FII bought 9.8 K CE and 17.1 K CE were shorted by them. Retailers bought 175 K CE and 122 K  CE were shorted by them.
  • 15100 PE OI@35 Lakhs having the highest OI strong support at 15100 followed by 15000. 15100-15300 PE added 28 Lakh in OI so bulls addded position in range 15000-15200.FII bought 6.3 K PE and 2.2  K shorted PE were covered by them. Retailers bought 53  K PE and 49 K PE were shorted by them.
  • FII’s bought 1008 cores and DII’s sold 1283 cores in cash segment.INR closed at 72.85

Buy Above 15221 Tgt 15243,15266 and 15291 (Nifty Spot Levels)

Sell Below 15169 Tgt 15148,15120 and 15088  (Nifty Spot Levels)

Upper End of Expiry : 15380

Lower End of Expiry : 15037

    TDL/TCL difference point is only 1??? or it’s 15139??? nifty is very much trading below the TDL.
